Meet the Founders

Tracey — President & Founder
Tracey grew up in a farm environment surrounded by large breed dogs, horses, and livestock animals. From a young age, she developed a deep appreciation for dogs and the loyalty that large breeds bring to a family.
Her lifelong love for large breed dogs naturally led her into rescue work. Tracey founded The Red Barn Goofy Newfy Rescue with one goal in mind — to step in where help is needed most and ensure these dogs receive the care, medical attention, and homes they deserve.
Her dedication, hands-on experience, and compassionate leadership are the foundation of this rescue.

Anistyn — Vice President & Co-Founder
Anistyn was raised around dogs her entire life, especially large breed dogs, and developed a strong passion for them at a young age. She has always believed in the powerful bond between humans and animals and the life-changing impact rescue can have — not only on the dogs, but on the families who adopt them.
Beyond her love for rescue work, Anistyn is passionate about educating the public on ethical versus unethical breeding practices. She strongly believes that awareness and education are key to reducing overpopulation and improving the welfare of large breed dogs.
Her commitment to advocacy, education, and responsible adoption helps drive the rescue’s mission forward every day.
